Albion Records update

Stephen Connock informs us that...

The archive disc, ALBCD 014, comprising On Wenlock Edge, Merciless Beauty, Prelude on Three Welsh Hymn Tunes and Five Tudor Portraits on Disc 1 and an RVW talk called "Bach: The Great Bourgeois", as the bonus CD, is now complete. Albion Records is aiming to issue this two–CD set in May 2012.

A solo piano recording of Job, with piano preludes by Gurney, is being recorded by Iain Burnside on 18 – 20th January, 2012 at Potton Hall. The producer is Andrew Walton. The CD is completed with Lake in the Mountains. Albion Records is hoping to release this disc in the Autumn of 2012.

Albion Records' latest CD – 'On Christmas Day' received excellent reviews in the national and musical press. BBC Music Magazine awarded it a double five-star review.
