The Bronx Opera Company
The Bronx Opera Company will be mounting a full production of The Poisoned Kiss in New York City in January.
Performances will be in the Lovinger Theatre of Lehman College in the northwest Bronx (Friday morning, January 13th for 500 public school children, Saturday evening, January 14th at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon, the 15th, at 2:00) and repeated at the Kaye Playhouse of Hunter College (Saturday evening, January 21st, at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon, January 22nd, at 2:00).
This is a rare United States performance. A rare performance anywhere! However it is not the the first venture into the RVW opera world by The Bronx Opera Company who have mounted full productions of Hugh the Drover twice and Sir John in Love twice.
